DC Women Kicking Ass: DC says Gay Character will be Male and "Iconic"

DC Comics today confirmed that there will be a new gay character in the DCU:

One of the major iconic DC characters will reveal that he is gay in a storyline in June,” Courtney Simmons, DC Entertainment’s senior vice president of publicity, confirmed to ABC News.

I think “iconic” rules out…

My money is on either Martian Manhunter, Wally West, or the Atom (whichever they’re gonna use in this crazy reboot). Dick Grayson/Nightwing is also another choice, a bit controversial, but interesting nonetheless. No way they’d make Batman gay though, the pedophile jokes will be 10x worst (and funnier)

I animated this little scene as part of a short for a 2D team effort. I’m not completely happy at how the clean up person handled this scene (I’m sorry!) so…here’s the one I made. Still kinda choppy in a few places though.
