Not exactly new, just retouched it for a submission.
I’ve been at constant war with this piece, and I suspect it wont be over any time soon.

I didnt post these before for fear of the idea being stolen. Honestly though, if it does, I must be doing alright! So screw it. These are for an animated pitch I’ve been putting together for the last month or so.

The only way I can think of explaining it is that it’s like Gigantor meets 80s sci-fi and Dexter’s Lab.

It’s stupid :[

Taking a break from my personal project and the ‘Febranimal’ stuff to do color keys based off the Green Lantern series.
RIP Green Lantern.

reworking a design from a sketch I posted some time ago. One of the many things I will be working on tonight. Procrastination. Always the go-to answer.

Character sketch for an app game I’m hoping to develop next year. Mostly playing with shapes and different styles, whatever looks goofy enough to work.

Sometimes I amaze myself with how ridiculous my stuff can be. Then I swing by a comic book store. I feel so much better afterwards.

The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia Book

January cannot come any slower. Though I wish it had the Japanese version’s cover (less crowded, simple, but to the point)

Regardless, the moment I get some money in, it’s happening.

This is a revision of another environment painting I did before. It’s a bit more and I like the overall changes a bit better.

Working on a different approach to this. I dont usually like to ink or outline whatever I already painted, but I think it sorta suits the over all look of the piece.

Still debating on whether I should keep the inks on the background or not.

Yes! And it’s very good so far too! (Taken with Instagram)

Prometheus

Prometheus has made me believe I can learn to do matte painting. Let’s see how long that silliness lasts.

I need to move on from this. I like the roughness and, I guess, Incomplete-ness of it.
This blog is quickly becoming a tentacle-fest. Just bear with me, it’s almost over guys D:

I’m fairly new to environments, but I had fun making this one. Hopefully I’ll get better at them with more practice. It’s a crashed spaceship that nobody could really move, so over the years people decided to just build around it, and eventually through it, like some kind of giant check-point.
