I skipped the Febranimal yesterday. So here’s yesterday’s aswell to make up for it.
Febranimal #10. Though a bit of a cheat I started this months ago, and just sorta left it very unfinished til now.
I skipped out Febranimal two days in a row. So here’s two studies to make up for it. Third one later tonight.
these situations are no different than what we face as artists. It’s called art-WORK for a reason.

This kind applies to my last job. I showed them how to do certain things, gave away too much, worked a lot for chump change. I took off a few days to go to CTN-Expo, came back to find another artist was hired as ‘support’. I went into the office to ask for more hours, I came out of the office without a job. My time there was not all awful. I just wish they hadnt taken advantage of me like that.
Regardless, if you find yourself being like one of these assholes, jump off a long bridge. Then think about your life.
Febranimal #3. I havent had a chance to use my computer during the weekend, so for now it’s just bad pictures of pencil sketches. #4 should be a bit more colorful, hopefully.
Febranimal #2. I haven’t had a chance to get to my computer this weekend to do these. so for now, a crappy picture of a crappy sketch will have to do til I get #3 properly done.

Another environment/background piece. I went with a more contemporary animated style this time.
Not completely sure about the snow on the trees. I struggled with that for some time. I decided to keep it, but I’d love to hear solutions on how to fix it?
Reblogging because I made changes to the trees based on suggestions from others. Eh…kinda works? I’m still trying to get used to this style.
Studies for the Animabruary challenge (or is it Febranimal?) An exercise a few friends and I are doing all month, doing animal studies.
I was unable to use my computer all day, so went the traditional route. Hopefully when the whether here in Washington DC isnt so “emotionally distressed”, I’ll be able to go to the zoo and do some live studies.
What I’ve been talking about on twitter for a few days now (shameless plug)
This was my very first storyboard, from a millenia ago. I thought it’d be nice to scan it and put it together with sound. It has its fair share of issues. Being the first one, I was stumbling on what I was doing. Lots of things I could’ve done differently, adding more frames/inbetweens, better drawings, etc. Overall though I’m happy it came out okay and didnt give me that much trouble in the conversion into the animatic form.
