So basically this is the character you control in a point-and-click puzzle adventure app game I’ve been trying to get off the ground. I will attempt to animate his movements on either Photoshop or TVPaint, I dont think the slick vector look of Flash will help me here.

Or I can make the girlfriend do all the work for me while I act out the asshole boss routine. I call this fair treatment.

That’s it. I’m done with this. I dont want to see it again >:/

Working on a different approach to this. I dont usually like to ink or outline whatever I already painted, but I think it sorta suits the over all look of the piece.

Still debating on whether I should keep the inks on the background or not.

This was a group effort for a 2D studio team class, in which another person and I were team leaders. I created the character and co-wrote the story. I wasn’t thrilled about the outcome, I feel like we could’ve pushed for a better animation flow, but it’s my first time as the “boss”, so…this shall be my fault.

This is the premise for a longer story, for which I describe it as an “a goofier and inept Indiana Jones in Central America”
