Thank you, you too! I’m very much impressed with your sculpture skills.
Today’s warm-up was all kinds of stupid.
But, does he know something?
Caught up to season 3, sort of.
I’m sure a graphic designer would probably hate me when it comes to typography. Hmm-mmm…
One last time with this jerk, just for the night crew.
Does anyone know if there’s such a thing as the “Art of Monster of Paris” book?? I’d pay plenty for that

I’m not safe here with all these Iron Man 3 spoilers flying around. I dont much care for the Star Trek ones, honestly half of the things that keep popping up were, well, predictable? I’m also not very invested in that franchise.
But Iron Man 3…No. Get out.

So I colored this thing, also known as “dammit Clark, not this shit again?”
My monitor and my cintiq dont get along and both lie to me, so I have no idea what the true colors really are. I’m so sorry.
I dont know what I’m doing anymore.
For the none-past midnight, responsible human beings
I had forgotten that I brought this book, off a tip from a twitter user. The first part has plenty of concept/visual development material, the second and third is mostly the set and design building, interviews, dino-robots.
But the real meat of it is the last section. It has a shit-ton of storyboards. I havent gone through the whole thing, but I think it’s almost the whole second half of the movie (starts where the T-rex’s first appearance)
This book is also cheap as dirt, from 99 cents to $3 dollars on Amazon. It was a good find.

Yes, absolutely! I definitely miss it, I benefited from the trying out new things and not having any real consequences if they didnt work out, other than going back and trying again.
Art class sucks literally all the creativity and enjoyment out of art.
Hmm…no. Just because you dont believe in working hard to get to a level where you’re satisfied with your creative process doesnt mean the rest of us dont.
I know several people who dont need classes and are unbelievably good at what they do. More power to them. Not all of us fall in that category. Not only does it help to have someone constantly pushing you forward, making you try new and different approaches and honing your skills, having a classroom full of creative-hungry people helps to keep you on your A game and brings various levels of inspiration.
Basically I dont agree, but you’re entitled to your opinion, however close-minded or not it may be.
